The Easiest French Onion Soup Ever – $.45

This one’s dedicated to all you guys who want to impress your ladies. Two ingredients. You can do this.

Chop an onion in half.

Lay the 1/2 onion on its’ side and slice it as thin as you can.

Put the onions in a heated pan with at least a tablespoon of olive oil. Immediately turn the heat down to low.

Cook about 30 minutes till it looks kinda like this, stirring frequently.

Put a can of beef broth in, stir, and cook for 30 more minutes. Don’t add salt unless your broth is unsalted.

Booyah. Two ingredients. Tasty soup for two. Feel free to put other spices or the swiss cheese and bread thing on top, but I kinda like it without it. Also, if it’s too salty or strong, just add a little hot water.

1/2 onion – $.31
Can of beef broth – $.59
2 servings – $.90
1 serving – $.45
